Vintage Dolphin Teak Cheese Board & Glass Dome

$32.00
Sold

It’s no secret the cheesboard & dome combo is making a trendy comeback, and this mid-century Dolphin teak cheese tray with dome is no exception. It's a smaller tray complete with handles and a recessed area to keep the dome in place. The dome is not flimsy. This is a fun one to add to your collection. Perfect for serving a variety of cheeses and snacks. It sits on four secure rubber feet. There are visible knife marks in the middle of the cheeseboard, presumably where the previous owner cut the cheese (there’s no way around saying ‘cut the cheese’). Anyway, cover those imperfections with yummy tapas!

The tray is 9 1/2” square. The dome is 6 1/2” in diameter and 5 1/2” tall with knob.

Used – Good: The item is in perfect working condition, though showing wear-and-tear from regular use. The dome has no cracks, chips, damage or discernible wear. The teak is showing signs of wear consistent with age, specifically a few scratches in the center of the cheese plate and a very small cosmetic chip on each of the handles- barely noticeable. Keep the teak conditioned a few times a year with a light rub of food grade mineral oil.
